The Lost Prince

so anyway, this is my version of Kopa... His design has changed a lot throughout the years, but i guess i can settle with this one. Not the most original design, i know, but i like it. He's got traits from both of his parents, but he isn't a Simba/Nala clone. As for his colors, they a re a bit more vibrant than here (i had to make them a little duller so he can fit the background better.)

For his story i went with the "killed by Zira" theory, but he obviously survives. I have a whole story on how he survived, here it it if you wanna read it:

It starts before SP when he's about 8 years old when Zira lures him outside the Pridelands to kill him and have her vengeance on Simba for killing Scar. As she was about to make her final strike and take his life, a rouge lion happened to pass by. I turns out it's her childhood friend. He questions her actions and feels sorry for Kopa. He offers her a deal; he adopts him and raises him as his own, and trains him to be a killer, and when he gets old enough, they team up with the Outlanders and take over the Pridelands. Zira liked the idea that Simba gets to be killed by his own son so she accepts the deal.
Kopa makes a recovery afterwards, and he grows up beside the rouge lion, his mate and daughter. They tell him that he was attacked by some hyenas when he was a cub and Simba just left him there to die because "he didn't care about him, he loved Kiara more". Being the naive child he was, he believed it all, without even questioning it. His new family gave him a new name  Eventually, he forgets his real name, and grows up to be cold, bitter, and merciless towards anyone who wasn't his family. In the meantime, Zira loses her interest in the plan and starts training her adopted son Kovu to kill Simba instead. Now Kopa and his small pride decide to attack after the events of SP but when they realized that the the prides were united they gave up on the plan. Still, Kopa was so bitter seeing that Kiara was now queen and how Simba was happy without him, he decided to attack them anyway. He knew his chances of survival were slim but he had nothing to live for anyway. So he attacked them in their sleep, Kiara was his first victim but something went terribly wrong for him; he couldn't kill her. When he saw Kovu laying beside her and their cubs cuddled next to them, he just couldn't . The same was for Simba, he didn't have the gut to kill him either. So he left. He couldn't stay. He occasionally visited them secretly and watched them from the shadows, to see how they were. He never learned the truth, he never knew that they missed him... He thought that they forgot about him and he was okay with that. He was still sad though.
